When Do You Put Your Christmas Trimmings Up?

Two weeks ago I noticed that one of my neighbours had put their trimmings up and it seems to get earlier and earlier here in the UK that people are doing that.

When the boys were little I used to put them up around the beginning of December but now as grown up men 26/19 and only the youngest at home I do it around two weeks before Christmas.

When do you put your trimmings up?

I don't put any up, but generally here in South Australia we have a Christmas Pageant in Adelaide on the 2 Saturday of November, this marks that Santa is here and so people can start Christmasy things like decorating the house and putting a tree up

My fiances birthday is 22nd November and he's always said as soon as his birthday is over that me and the kids can put the tree and decorations up so we usually take that to heart and put them up the day after

Early December.

I don't bother. All mine is packed in the garage. MIL puts up her tree and decorations usually around mid December.

Sometime the first week of December. In the process of buying new decorations as I love my house being all decorated and even better when it's new.

I drove down the rd and my neighbors have lights on already. Really pretty but if we keep this up Thanksgiving will just be another day.

I don't put any up ... I work over Xmas, and generally, don't have anybody come over to mine during the holiday period and my cats tend to pull everything off the tree when I do have it up.

Did it yesterday! My tree is now up. His name is Garth.

I have a little tree , a elf on a shelf and a weird looking thing , they will be coming out at the beginning of December and no earlier
