I was but I have started to reduce my intake. I'm now drinking decaff and the headaches have stopped so I think I'm past the awful withdrawal stage. My boss said when she gave up coffee she was throwing up for 2 weeks and couldn't move her head it hurt so much.
I gave up alcohol 2 years ago (wasn't hard because I was barely a drinker anyways) but I have struggled with coffee as it's lovely in a morning. But I need to give it up.

Being Italian I adore coffee. I don't drink as much as tea though, but our espresso machine does pump up a magnificent cup though its copper and brass jacket does need cleaning to look its best.
A lunchtime though my times are later than most, might see me sipping a nice creamy cappuchino. Only espresso is for that quick tip on the way tyo work. I'm tempted to get a Handresso for the truck as it could be useful.
Love Arabica beans, but sometimes a rocket shot of Robusta makes for great rocket fuel.

Drinking too much caffeine can as you say, cause headaches but in moderation is pleasureable. If you enjoy a cuppa coffee in the mornings, just stick to the one. A cafetiere of, eg. medium ground decaff will have only a tiny amount of caffeine in, but is very pleasant. For cafetieres or, "French Press" I recommend medium ground Illy. Lavazza Gold also do a fine decaff, and contains like Illy, only the milder but flavoursome Arabica. Keep pre-ground or coffee beans out of the fridge as the coldness sucks away their flavour. Keep it in an airtight tin and use whenever. Avoid espresso as it can cause headaches and too many small cups really will make you lit.
