Been really into some Dragonforce lately. A band I didn't used to be a fan of but have grown more fond over time since listening to their recent albums. Picked up their Re-Powered Within remaster of The Power Within and it sounds really good. Some time ago they got a new singer. I think that was a major improvement for the band and their last two albums sound better produced and more grown up too I think. But I love all their albums.

Hmm, what more can I share?
Those of you familiar with Future Diary will probably recognise this as the opening.
I love the kpop girl group Dreamcatcher because their music has a dark, hard rock style. Ignore the fact they are on "Happy Face Entertainment" because these are some creepy MVs lol.
I remember this hardcore group called Oh, Sleeper. Their song "Vices Like Vipers" is just so good, the lyrics are powerful, the music video is freakin' creepy, but it is just so good. Too bad there isn't a higher quality upload haha.
One of my favourite heavy bands I still follow is Demon Hunter. Ryan Clark in my opinion has one of the most unique screams, like the texture and his technique is fascinating. What I also love too is he doesn't just scream, he has a BEAUTIFUL singing voice.

The metal genre is for me the best in music because it is diverse and has so many different bands able to mix many sounds together for it's own hybrid. Thrash metal, Doom, Death, Progressive, Power, Black, deathcore, metalcore, hardcore, melodeath etc there's just so much that metal offers in many categories and sounds influenced by many types of rock and blues backgrounds too.
