Anyone else like the forumula one racing? Favourite tems/drivers/tracks?
Strange one this year obviously because of the shorter season and who knows how many tracks we're actually going to get giving how many had to be cancelled. Can Ferarrir ever pull their socks up? Will Renault (Despite showing a little pace with Riccardo last race) ever get anywhere? Is Williams a lost cause?

Indeed I do . I've been watching since 1997 now (so, before any of the current lot started racing, and even before some of them were born!) It is a strange season, but it's nice to see McLaren and Racing Point punching above their usual weight... makes a change from Mercedes/Ferrari/Red Bull being at the top all the time . I do hope Williams isn't a lost cause. It's hard to believe that, when I first started watching the sport, they were the Championship winners!

I've been on and off for yeqars but the last several years I've really got back into it. I'm hoping Red bull (Or someone) can challenge Mercedes enough eventually. The pink Mercedes, erm Racing Point have been suprising so far, although not so much so when I found out why of course, but still it's a turn of events that's making for a nice suprise. I'm really happy how McLaren have turned around slowly last season and hope they continue this one. Got my eye on meme lord Lando as a bright star to watch and keep an eye on.
I think we're all hopefull for Williams to have a break-through, Renault need all the hope they can get and I can't help but feel Riccardo hung himself out to dry by going there of all places.

Yeah... I can see why Ricciardo made the gamble (could build that team around himself rather than being in Max's shadow), but it just didn't work out . He'll be at McLaren next year - and I hope it works out better (he and Lando should make a good combination). Would be nice to see Red Bull getting one over Mercedes - but, sadly, it doesn't seem to be happening this year . Maybe next year. As for Racing Point, Nico Hulkenberg will be replacing Sergio Perez, after the latter tested positive for COVID-19: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/53608989Sad to see, and I wish Perez all the best - but, good luck to the Hulk!

Completetly agree with Ricciardo sentiment, Renault just haven't got the goods. Can't wait to see him with lando next year at McClaren.
As much as I don't really like Perez (Racing style, atiitude), it is nethertheless; a shame given recent progress. I wouldn't be one to deny someone that pushing personal feelings aside. But good for Hulkenburg who deserves to be in the F1.
I'm hoping some light rain does come today as it's bound to be another boring usual Silverstone Mercedes 1-2 today, hope not.
