Now that they're back in fashion a bit it's funny the nostalgia I have for them. When I was a kid my dad owned a bunch of rock and country tapes he'd play in his truck all the time. It's how I heard some deep cuts by old hippy bands or outlaw country singers like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.

My Dad is always playing cassettes or vinyl. I know on tapes he has all these 'hits of the 70s' plus 80s and 90s compilations.

I have a ton of cassette tapes, mostly heavy metal. This was before CDs came along.

I used to have quiet a few cassette tapes because our car had a cassette tape player, but not anymore!

I still have them but I don't have a player as my idiot mother made me give it away. I have a Walkman but the batteries don't last very long in it and run down well before the end.

I think I've got a few somewhere. Used to have a small case of cassettes that I carried around with the car. After selling that car I think I put the case in a box of old CD's ...that also never get played!
