Right now we have about $3.50 a gallon, which is nothing compared to Proton's number, sheesh...but it is getting higher every single day

Holy ****. That makes me feel better about gas prices here. It's getting close to $4 per gallon.
The solution someone proposed was to jack up the prices of corn, wheat, etcetera, $1 more than fuel. See how they like it.

$1.07 per litre here currently, but jumps between $1.40, sometimes higher, and 90c, sometimes lower, and it usually stays at the higher prices for much longer than the lower prices
