We need some recipes for Asian food!! I'm no expert, but this is one thing I usually cook at home, it's easy and doesn't require a lot of work
If you'd like it vegetarian, omit everything that's marked optional
. . .
I always estimate the amounts, so adjust according to your taste
Seasoning: - 2 tablespoons olive oil (any cooking oil should work) - 2 teaspoons sesame oil - 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce - 1-2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
Ingredients: - 1 serving of dry noodles. Udon, ramen, yellow noodles, rice noodles, even instant noodles works. I used udon in the picture - 3 stalks of bok choy, roughly chopped - 2 cloves of finely-chopped garlic - 100-200g cooked minced meat (optional)
Optional garnish: - 2 teaspoons chopped spring onions - 2 teaspoons fried shallots - 1 teaspoon ground pepper - 1 teaspoon chilli powder
. . .
Boil the bok choy and noodles separately in water. Make sure they're not still raw, but not too soft or it'll be difficult to fry them. If you'd like a little more flavour, you can add a few teaspoons of soy sauce or salt to the bok choy and noodles while you're boiling them.
Mix the olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce and oyster sauce in a pan or large pot. Heat it up for roughly a minute, then add in the chopped garlic and stir well for 30 seconds.
Add in cooked bok choy and minced meat, stir-fry for a few more seconds.
Add cooked noodles last, stir-fry for a few more seconds and mix well.
Serve with optional garnish
