Wow, I have SO MANY favourite albums. Maybe I will just come on here periodically and talk about one or two.
RED - END OF SILENCE
This was a solid debut album for this band! I remember when this was new. It's so good, it still lives up to their newer stuff. I adore every single song on here, and "Already Over" is still one of my ultimate faves from them. It's rare to hear male fronted rock bands that incorporate orchestra, which makes this a real treat, plus they have meaningful lyrics written in a simple but flowy style I love. In 2016, they re-released the album re-mastered for their 10th anniversary with two new tracks and some acoustic versions.
I shall talk about more albums later, but that is a good place to start.

Exodus - Bonded by Blood (1985)I consider the debut album by Exodus to be in the top 5 essential metal albums if not just thrash albums. This is a stone cold classic with many memorable moments. Classic thrashy riffs with excellent groove. It is my favourite Exodus album because every song just hits home very well with superbly executed drum fills, excellent guitar riffs, vocals and generally memorable songs all the way in.

Vektor - Terminal Redux (2016)A modern thrash metal masterpiece that contains a lot of that hard punk inspired fast riffing that you get in thrash with a lot of excellent progressive melodies, time signatures and transitions. All Vektor albums have that but this newest album of theirs really shows it in a much bigger setting with over 70 minutes of blistering metal. The technical guitar work mixed with awesome melodies makes this a worthwhile listen.

These two albums still belong to my absolute favorites as far as the power metal scene goes, I love the tempo changes, orchestral work, multi voice work and everything else about it In my opinion one of the best power metal bands ever

Motörhead's Orgasmatron, Still one of my all time favorite metal albums I think the sound of Motörhead got something extra on this and the four following albums There are those that didn't like that things became a bit more melodic on this and the four albums after But I personally think it enhanced an already class band. The title song Orgasmatron says everything about this world !

I listened to this one last night. I enjoy this album a lot. I think Motorhead did melodies really good and were often underrated.

Born of Osiris - The Discovery (2011)This to me is the perfect album from a deathcore band. It blends the brutal deathcore breakdowns, heavy downtuned riffs and blast beats with some progressive melodies, time signatures and ambient sounds throughout to make the experience a unique one.
