Yup, we can have a zombie apocalypse right here on FJ, oh my

How it works is every active member will have a role in the game. Some will be zombies, some will be soldiers, and some will be scientists. To start with, we need some volunteers for these roles!! ...

The first zombies are the ones who start spreading the infection, their goal is to make every user on the forum into a zombie. Being a zombie is nothing scary, it just means you have a box around your mini-profile saying you're a zombie, and you can infect other people

The scientists get to cure people who have become zombies, their goal is to cure every zombie so the infection won't spread anymore.

The soldiers shoot zombies to kill them, their goal is to get rid of zombies and make them extinct. The soldiers and scientists can work together against the zombies.

If you don't want to participate in this, say it here please Otherwise, if there's any particular role you want (zombie, scientist, or soldier), let us know!! Whoever hasn't opted out or specified any role will be assigned a random role when the apocalypse starts It's just trying the game out and we can always stop it or restart it if nobody likes it. But hopefully everyone has fun!!

These are what each of the roles can do...
Zombies can bite people and turn them into zombies too.
Scientists can cure zombies.
Soldiers can shoot anyone, zombie or not, and the person will become "dead".

All these actions are by chance though, so if you're a zombie and you bite someone, infecting the person is not guaranteed, it's only by chance. I'll post the more detailed stats later

The zombies will work together to turn everyone on FJ into zombies, while the scientists and soldiers will work together to cure or get rid of all the zombies.

This entire game will only be playable from the mini-profiles (the profile that shows beside your posts), so you'll see whatever available options (to Bite, Cure, Shoot, or Respawn) at the bottom of each member's mini-profile.

Here's a breakdown of the game stats.

Zombies can infect 3 people every 1 hour.
Scientists can cure 2 people every 1 hour.
Soldiers can shoot 2 people every 1 hour.

If you're dead, you can revive yourself. Everyone is limited to 1 respawn every 24 hours.

Infecting someone with the zombie disease has a 90% chance to turn them into a zombie, otherwise they'll become dead.
Curing a zombie has a 75% chance to turn them back into a normal human, and a 15% chance that they'll become dead. Otherwise, nothing will happen.
Shooting someone has a 65% chance to kill them, and a 15% chance to turn them into a zombie. Otherwise, nothing will happen.
Respawning has a 75% chance to revive yourself back into a normal human, otherwise you'll become a zombie.

There will be more scientists and soldiers than zombies to start with
