Yeah, usually spend the night with my family. Just stay up later than any other night of course.

If I celebrate at all, it is usually with one or a few good friends... there is one part of it that I hate like heck o ver here and that is the dang fireworks that everyone sets off here. It's hell on animals and nowadays with all the agression it is easy to get a piece of firework in your face, eyes or whatever. I wish they would only allow fireworks anymore in professional displays cos a lot of people don't realize the dangers of it.

Intertwining stories promise love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and more for a number of New Yorkers on the celebrated night. A rock star (Jon Bon Jovi) and his ex-lover (Katherine Heigl) clash at an exclusive party; a singer (Lea Michele) becomes stranded with a killjoy (Ashton Kutcher) on the way to a New Year's gig; a nurse (Halle Berry) stays with a dying patient (Robert De Niro) as he tries to hang on long enough to see the ball drop in Times Square one last time.

We go to the pub for a good knees-up and a sing-song. We kiss every one we can and wish them a happy new year. You always get someone there that tells every one that they don't like new year... well go and sulk in the corner on your own and let the rest of us enjoy it. On new years day (lunch time ) we do the same thing as we did the night before and have a good time

'Clash at an exclusive party'.
For 'exclusive' read 'elitist'.
