I'm sorry but I don't see one here?! I know Paul enjoys them on certain forums, he frequents. Just thought, it would be neat if he had one of his own to manage. I'm sure his Staff would help him along with this. Thanks for welcoming my suggestion!

Thanks for bringing this up Di. The reason I haven't ever considered one is because unlike a lot of other forums, I don't think many people here have forums. 5 or 6 maybe (might be more than that but many only visit FJ once or twice a week)? Whereas on other forums like yours and toetapping's, most people have their own forum. We've lost many in the past year, most of them due to falling out with me, I have that affect on people It's something that can be considered if those who have forums wish to have a section where various things can be discussed to do with forums. Guardian@toetapping @spice mamafrankie@kikipetie @mochaswirl KyngJane@stluee If we do introduce it, staff here will also be given access to it and it would also be passworded like it is on toetapping's forum. No one would be obligated to give input, that would be your choice.

Just because you have a forum for other admins to discuss "issues", doesn't mean what is said will always stay. I know for a fact that when I had my admin discussion forum before a few decided to part ways, and this was a few years back, that what was discussed made it's way to certain members. I am not saying that is always the case just from my experience though.

It could run as smooth as a babies bottom, or it could also cause unwanted conflicts that could have been prevented had you not had the category... just all depends on how peeps react to certain topics?! Mozzie has the best ran one around, I know of. People "actually" act mature during discussions. You just have to decide if you are going to take the bull by the horns. Either way, I wish you well.

It's not always a good idea to have one cause it' doesn't always end well.

I guess you can try it and see. Sometimes it works for the greater good, other times not.

It's probably a 50/50 chance! There are "some" Admins who truly are striving for a better generation of boards; who have out-grown the "binkies" and all the "jumping to conclusions w/o knowing all the facts" so if you are lucky enough to "weed" out the bad, you'll probably have great luck with it! Worse case Scenario, you can always take it away as fast as it came if it's misused!

I'm very confident none of the people I tagged above would be like that. The trouble makers we've had are no longer here *cough* Ann *cough*.
See how it goes, will most likely include it soon.
