I've been doing some more short story work, lately, but my novels are my main project right now. (Yeah, plural. I'm kind of crazy.)
I certainly don't have enough for an entire book of short stories, though. I don't really write them that often, although more recently. And I've got a couple ideas that I have yet to actually write. Should probably get on that, I've got one that I think'll be really good, but it won't write itself...
Yeah, role-playing is great fun. Some of my role-playing posts turn out longer than some of the short stories I've written. XD I haven't done much lately, but that's because I can't use my character at the moment. I'm waiting for other people to post for me. -.-
I've also been into writing plays, recently. I've written two one-acts, so far, one of which I consider completed, the other I'm planning on coming back to some day.

Wow you really want to publish your novels/stories, dont you? Go for it. Haha I can never handle more than 3 books at once, leave alone writing a bunch of different stuff at one time. Some people read 5 books at once o.O It really impresses me but then it scares me too. XD My problem is I get ideas but I dont know how to make a whole book out of it =/ Thats why I can write short stories. But I can stretch stuff like fan fiction because I dont really have to do any major thinking of the plot. You just have to apply some sense and stretch it further. And I can't do any type of role-playing (especially not characters from historical novels: It has to be something of my interest. eh im picky. lol You must have guessed it but Im involved in Harry Potter role-playing right now. Peace. Hehe where do you go for RPG, Raethe? I love plays. My favorite would have to be "The Diary of Anne Frank". it was wonderful...We held a play for it in class, I was Anne once and the next few times I was Peter. XD Heh I remember i wrote an IM conversation between the Hogwarts teachers months ago. XD I just stole the characters and the rest was kind of a funny convo going on. I wonder where I kept that.

Yes, I fully intend on making a career as a writer. And, I'm still only writing one book at a time, lol. The book(s) that I'm working on are a series, and there are probably going to be at least three of them - but we'll see what happens, lol.
Yeah, well some things are just better as short stories. Chances are if you can't make a whole book out of an idea, it wasn't meant to be an entire book, anyway.
Yes, I had rather guessed that you'd be into HP roleplaying, lol. I used to role-play at a Harry Potter site called Magickal Horizons, but the site grew stale and I left. Now I role-play at my own site, Four Points, which is not a Harry Potter system. It is sort of similar, though; it's an academy for the Occult and Advanced Technologies, set in the modern-day world (Rome to be exact). It's great fun, the only thing is the site is a little slow. -.- ;;
Yeah, fanfictions are fun. I've never actually written one to completion, though, lol. I have a couple ideas for Forgotten Realms fanfics kicking around that I'd like to write one of these days , but I'm more focused on serious works at the moment.
And, I really don't think I could name a favorite play, there are some great ones out there. Haven't seen the Diary of Ann Frank, though...

Eh I'll reply properly in the morning but just some quickies: - hehe i joined FP *shrug* looked like fun. - And I havent seen the "Diary of Anne Frank" play either, just a part of it but the play itself its amazing. I should see it someday. *yawn* Ta! EDIT: well i couldnt sleep. not my fault I cant wait to read your novel because it sounds really planned and of course it would be an honor to know a future-famous writer before hand#hihi# Eh I'd say you're right to stick to your novels right now. I would do that and not write anything else at the moment or it would distract me. ;D
Yeah I should start practicing posting longer ones in RPG; maybe that will help my writing skills. Haha how could I not take part in Harry Potter RPG. I would say its really fun than other RPGs like LotR because there's so much to do. I like the idea of Four Points, actually.
I have written lots of fan fiction. Problem is either I dont submit it or I didnt ever pay much attention to them. Half of them are somewhere in my drawers I write them anytime I want to do something constructive or mostly its some school project.
Meh. I think my first fan fiction was in "Goosebumps" by R.L.Stine. I used to love that series when I was small =]

Yeah, that's what I meant. I've never read it/seen it/enacted it but I'm sure it's fun, lol.
And, I'm writing short stories still, but I don't want to get involved in any other big projects at the moment, the novels are enough, heh. Although I'm still bound and determined to write a full length musical play one of these days.
If you're really interested, I have a couple of chapters written, I could e-mail them to you or whatever. I've sent it to a few people already, feedback's always welcome.
I did LOTR RPG for a while, it was good fun. I'm just not interested in keeping up with ten million RP forums anymore though, even if I had the time lol.
Heh, the length of my RP posts is the same as anything else - I don't deliberately set out to mamke my posts long. They're just as long as they need to be. Sounds flaky, but I'm an artist (in the broader sense of the word, of course). I'm allowed to be flaky XD
Heh, I've only written one fanfic, and I almost-but-not-quite completed it. Somebody was reading through it earlier tonight and she actually said she really liked it, which was surprising since I started it like two years ago and the quality of the writing makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. But hey XD

Oh I get it now. we had to read it and enact in in school w00t. the author and musician [if thats what i should call it] Raethe! haha Yeah I would love to read what you have. Its an honor actually. I'll PM you the email addy soon. Thats the same for me when I write essays >.< I start out writing a small paragraph and it gets huge. Its not like I deliberately wanted to Not flaky, its fair XD Oh geez I totally get what you mean. I feel so uncomfortable reading my old stories because they seem sooo majorly weird and "low-quality" to me. Urgh. but people still like it o.O

haha, of course. *sings* Someday I'm gonna be famous, do I have talent, well no... *cough* XD hehe, thanks. I'll send it to you afore I go to bed, then. Yeah, essays are sort of the same, but I don't really like writing them, so not so much XD haha, I know. I can't stand almost ANY of my old writing (by old, I generally mean 'wasn't written five minutes ago XD) so people will read it and praise it and stuff and I'll go, "How can you actually LIKE that crap?" Yeah. XD

Lmao @ the song...but yea we never know. *is lost in dreams*
I actually like essays only if the topic is worth a debate. I basically love debates and thats the only place i can keep writing forever and not realize it. XD
Hehe I dont mean 1 week ago stories either. old as in I dont even remember why on Earth did I write that piece of junk#hihi#
We PWN off-rantings. XD
