funjoint.proboards107.com/index.cgi?board=Random&action=display&thread=1157296179&page=1^^Thread where our 'bets' first began. FJ e-dollars on the line. The Ashes are the big one. $1000 with Hayley$1000 with Kelly$50,000 with Matt which he upped it upto on another thread from the original $20,000 we had. Anyone else want a bet you English folk with me or any other Aussies? Bring it on. This is also the official thread for the whole Summer(as we're about to enter). Oh, England started with a match today against an Australian number 12 side or something and lost by about 160 runs. #hihi# EDIT: The bets are for The Ashes only, not this mickey mouse one day crap. For me(or any other Aussies that may get involved) must WIN the series. If England win or draw the series you win. Bets can only be made prior to the first test starting.

England opening bat Marcus Trescothick is on his way home and will miss the entire Ashes series suffering the recurrence of a stress related injury. That's a shame, we would have liked to beat you with your best team playing.

FJ tradition. Australia 1, England 0 is all that really needs to be said. Pieterson > Flintoff Might be going to the 2nd test in Adelaide this weekend, I seriously hope England are now over their jetlag.

Australia won the 2nd test by 6 wickets. Possibly the greatest win in test history.
England 551/6 declared Australia 513 England 129 Australia 168/4
England lost 9/70 today in 54 overs before Australia took just 32.5 overs to get the winning score.
Ricky Ponting-Man of the Match in both the first 2 tests.
